NVIDIA Launches GeForce RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti for Laptops

Nvidia has announced the launch of latest in the lineup for laptop video cards, the GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti based on the company’s smallest Ampere GPU — GA107.

The 3050 launches along side Intels Tiger Lake-H CPUs which should offer some competition to current Ryzen APU powered laptops.

Performance-wise, the 3050 should be a good replacement for laptops running the GTX 1650 Ti and even the GTX 1660.    Curiously, there’s no comparison with it’s competition so it’s likely a good idea to wait for benchmarks before ordering.  Laptops launching with the 3050 and 3050 Ti will ship out with support fo HDMI 2.1 output support and Dynamic Boost 2.0.
