It looks like currently available 30xx cards are about to be more expensive.
Nvidia has announced that upcoming 3080, 3070 and 3060 Ti cards will soon incorporate their hashrate limiting technology. This means that the cards released with the LHR tech will be less appealing to ethereum miners, but it should still work well for mining other crypto currencies.

An interesting omission is the 3090 LHR variant — which is likely due to the card’s already sky high 1500 MSRP making it unappealing for people looking to turn a quick buck with mining.
Ethereum performance aside, NVIDIA says that the upcoming LHR GeForce cards are functionally identical to the original generation GeForce 30 series cards.
