Have you been using Gcash and/or Coins.ph to fund your Shopee purchases via ShopeePay?  You might want to read this.

As of today, June 2, 2022, Shopee will now be charging a 1% admin fee when doing cash-ins from e-wallets like GCash, Maya and Coins.ph.  This means that your 1000 pesos cash-in will be deducted 10 pesos.  Those vouchers that use ShopeePay arent so appealing now.

To get around this, you can still cash-in via verified bank accounts from BDO, MetroBank and China Bank as well as payments via Instapay – which unfortunately has it’s own fee but will likely be smaller for large cash ins.
