The May 2021 update to Windows 10 is officially available brining mostly minor updates as Redmond gears up for a more substantial update in the coming months. We’re expecting the bigger update to roll out some time this October, pretty much up to par with last year’s October 2020 version.
Windows 10 21H1 changes:
Windows Hello – 21H1 brings support to external cameras (ie a usb attached webcam on a laptop) multiple cameras for faster recognition and better mapping of your face. It will also setup the better camera as default.
Windows Defender Application Guard
Opening files will now be faster as Windows improves it’s security check to prevent untrusted Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files from accessing your company’s trusted resources.
